Chez Sara in Neu-Ulm

I haven't been that impressed by an inn in a long time. Sure, I come here with my people and can rely on the impeccable service. Decorations on the tables and in the whole restaurant are sensible and tasteful. The toilet is always clean and all in all the restaurant makes a good impression. Inexpensive, diverse selection of food and drinks. I was really delighted with my maid of honor that we finally found a restaurant near us, which we can still afford without restriction at the end of the month.

We were looking forward to a nice French evening. The ambience is also great and the staff was great. But the price-line ratio is not correct, although very exclusive kitchen but we had a menu, of which not even a small child is satisfied with 3 spoons, that was the whole main course ... had left over 250 euros, in addition friends have us Canceled 10 minutes beforehand, we immediately apologized to the staff for the others. But after our order came a call from the boss (totally unfriendly). Still tried to enjoy the evening. But even after leaving the restaurant (2 hours later) there was another private message from the boss that was totally outrageous. Therefore, it is definitely not advisable to go there.

Very good at the reopening. In the meantime, this restaurant has declined significantly in terms of quality. 70 € / pers. is not justified. Addendum: They did not want to reveal what there was this evening, only that it would be an oriental "surprise". We went into that because we took extra time for the evening. On the phone they didn't mention this "special evening" because you probably didn't know it yourself even though you reserved 1 day in advance. Honestly it seemed like a leftovers meal. The course menu of which you spoke consisted largely of dips with raw vegetable strips which were quite good but 40 € do not do it any way. To the allegation when we mentioned that it tasted good after asking. I think most people like it Cheese bread, however, is not very meaningful. You have to look at the big picture. Whereby it's less about the price and more about the performance and the quality you provide. Here you get both: friendly and brisk service. It is always fine and we had a wonderful evening. The decoration in the squares and throughout the restaurant is adequate and stylish. The toilets are always clean and all in all, the restaurant gives a very good impression. Here it never happened to me that a dish was cold on the table. The beverage selection leaves nothing to be desired.

I think so many are. We look forward to an evening with French cuisine, a cozy atmosphere and a certain relaxation, which should be the French food. Unfortunately I have to join the dissatisfied comments. On a Thursday, where there should be "a la carte", there was only a prepared menu. This can not always meet the taste of everyone! ... but if you know it before! The reason for the menu selection on this day was that goods should come only the next day? It has to be said that the food was artisanal average good. More but not then! The dishes lacked the sophistication in preparation and serving. The service was endeavored, smelled strongly of alcohol and was actually overwhelmed. The price-performance ratio was in no justifiable context. The decor of the restaurant is consistent but about the condition of the bathroom I would not comment. The French kitchen is a niche with great potential. I am also aware that there are staff shortages in the catering industry everywhere. But then please, either right or not at all!

The food is great, taste like real French food. The portions are small, like really small. And prices are high.

Good quality food and service. I cannot give 5 stars as something is missing to give it this rating. The atmosphere is a bit odd, but I would still recommend if you are looking for a good table in the area. Staff was friendly and even happy to sort me out with a doggy bag. I would go again.

Simply good! Value for money is consistent for this restaurant. The wine list is varied and the service is outstanding. An added value for Ulm and Neu-Ulm.

Super great little restaurant at ZUP, French cuisine. The three-course menu was very first. Only the wine was sauteuer ... But that's the way it is. The waiter was funny, good guy.

Very cozy atmosphere, a very friendly service and an excellent French cuisine, delicious wine but exactly 3 hour for 3 course menu .....? Hmmmm ..... In the end, I could not sit anymore ..... Yes, that was delicious, a very good quality.

After dinner and a Sunday brunch at Chez Sara, I can say one thing for sure: if you miss this restaurant you miss something! Nice ambience, very friendly staff and excellent, creative French cuisine! And for me as a Swabian, the price-performance ratio is right too! It costs a little more than in the tavern around the corner but you go to Chez Sara to enjoy and not to satisfy the quick hunger.
